Legacy Copper connections

Legacy Copper connections refer to older types of network and telephone connections that use copper wiring, such as traditional telephone lines (POTS) and early Ethernet cables (e.g., Cat3). These connections were once standard for voice communication and basic internet access but are now considered outdated compared to modern technologies like fiber optics and dedicated fixed wireless access.

Legacy Copper connections generally offer lower speeds, limited bandwidth, and are more susceptible to interference and signal degradation over long distances. They are also being decommissioned by all major carriers.
